Doesn't this guy ever learn??
Posted on Blabbermouth:
STONE TEMPLE PILOTS/VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs and misdemeanor hit-and-run following a traffic collision that occurred in Hollywood Monday morning, BLABBERMOUTH.NET can exclusively reveal.
The singer, who turned 36 on Oct. 27, was driving alone near the corner of Melrose and Orange avenues at approximately 6:30 a.m. when he lost control of his BMW and struck several parked cars. He allegedly attempted to leave the scene of the accident and was quickly apprehended by police.
Weiland was released from jail Monday afternoon after posting $15,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Los Angeles Municipal Court on November 17.
Prior to his latest arrest, Weiland had completed most of the drug testing and counseling required after he pleaded no contest in August to two felony drug-possession charges. Judge Colette Serio told the singer in a Pasadena, California, court last week that he may remain free while he tries to kick his habit, but that could change should he not test clean. He was due back in court for another progress report in January.

Gee...ummm...I...feel sorry...for...the...poor guy. Such a shame. What a waste. This is all so sad. We shouldn't condemn him since we don't know what it is like to be a famous rock star. I'm sure he had a rough childhood. He gained success to fast to deal with it.
Um, can somebody else help me out with the cliches? We need to just save some replies to .txt files and just cut and paste everytime this moron gets busted.
What did Perry Ferral say with Janes Addiction in "Pigs In Zen"? Oh yeah..." Some people should die, that's just unconsious knowledge".

And others seem to defend people like this and say well he fell into the whole rockstar scene, he had a bad life, or it's the drug cuz it's addicting???
Yeah Yeah Yeah...Whatever!
It was their own dumb-asses for taking the drug in the first place.

I can understand him fucking up in the first place, especially if he started when he was in his teens. How many of us did things we should NEVER have done back then. But Christ, the guy is about my age, and has been in and out of help for years. If he can't control it, and obviously doesn't care to, then fuck him. Bonehead.

Come on now, just like anything else STP related, he's just trying to immitate his heros of the grunge scene. This time, his 'role model' is Layne.
